 ACNUR: We are in very close touch with UNHCR, the UN refugee Agency, in Catalunya. During the Barcelona meeting they showed an exhibition called “Ser refugiat” (Be a refugee)

in our school. Three times we had the visit of a refugee who told his/her story to our pupils within the activity “Escoltem els refugiats” (listen to the refugees).

Public hearing to the Barcelona City Council: Each year, the City Council from Barcelona, calls a public hearing for all the pupils in Barcelona schools. In the course 2016-17

the topic was “Barcelona ciutat refugi” (Barcelona refugee city) and 6 pupils participated in the activities in the school and also in different municipal buildings. Three examples

of the activities they have worked are shown and a presentation of the whole process.

Housing prototype for a family of refugees: The objective of this project is to design and build a housing prototype for a family of refugees of 4 people. It will be necessary to design and distribute the interior of the house, which will be designed from standard 20' and 40' freight transport containers.

            Drone meeting Barcelona:

During our first student’s meeting, in Barcelona from 10 to 17 April 2016, a drone flew over our heads and shot these images. Two versions are shown here:
